20131011 Probing the Universe

I have been playing with my universe composite for a couple of months now and have started experimenting with some different charts.  This week I decided to start putting these into a weekly post to share.  Why do I think it is worth sharing? Mainly because my universe does not have the noise found in the NYSE breadth readings.  It is amazing how much noise you can cut out by eliminating ETFs (electronically traded funds) and CEFs (closed end funds) and just using Individual Stocks. One example that should stand out below is the Advanced Decline Line.  My stock only universe has not put in a major divergence in contrast to the $NYAD that got everyone riled up a few weeks ago.

Going forward I plan for this post to be mostly charts with little if any commentary. If you have a question about any please put it in comments and I will reply.
